Ingredients
Directions
- Slice the carrot and sweet potato into thin, fry-shaped sticks. Cook in the air fryer at 400°F for about 15 minutes, shaking halfway through, or bake at 425°F for 20–25 minutes on a lined baking sheet, flipping halfway, until tender and lightly crispy.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion for 5–7 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat if needed, then stir in chili seasoning, tomatoes, and beans. Let simmer for a few minutes until thickened.
- Slice the hot dog and microwave for 30–60 seconds, or heat in a pan if preferred.
- Top the cooked fries with the chili, sliced hot dog, and cheese. Microwave briefly or broil on a baking sheet until the cheese is melted, if desired.
- Finish with pickles on top and enjoy!
Notes
- Use ground turkey or any preferred ground meat.
- Swap in any beans you like, just be sure to drain them.
- If the chili is too thin, stir in a small amount of cornstarch to thicken.
- Use any cheese you enjoy.
- Try adding mustard, jalapeños, or banana peppers for extra flavor.
