    Ingredients
      

    • 1 cup ice
    • cup frozen cherries
    • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
    • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
    • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
    • 1 tbsp chia seeds
    • 1 tbsp sliced almonds
    • ½ tsp vanilla extract
    • tsp xanthan gum optional, for extra creaminess

    Directions
     

    1. Add ice, frozen cherries, Greek yogurt, protein powder, chia seeds, almonds, and xanthan gum (if using).
    2. Blend on high speed for 3–5 minutes until thick, creamy, and smooth.
    3. Add a splash of liquid to reach your desired texture—iced coffee or cold brew concentrate really enhance the chocolate flavor, but water works perfectly too.
    4. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately for the ultimate cake-inspired smoothie.

    • Protein swap: Use cottage cheese, silken tofu, or dairy-free Greek-style yogurt instead of regular Greek yogurt.
