- Combine all ingredients into the blender and blend until it reaches a smooth and creamy consistency, adding a splash of water as needed to get it going.
- Pour your shamrock smoothie into a glass, add a straw, and enjoy!
Notes
- Pudding Mix/Thickener: To make your smoothie (and future smoothies) extra creamy, you can add either 2 tsp of pudding mix or ¼ tsp of xanthan gum. This also helps it melt less quickly so you have more time to sip without getting a brain freeze!
- Apple: For this recipe we like a granny smith apple for tartness (and because it’s green!), but you can also use honey crisp or gala for natural sweetness and tartness.
- Protein Powder: If you do not have protein powder, you can add ½ cup of Greek yogurt for a protein boost (may be a bit lower in protein overall) or simply leave it out! ~1 cup of a ready to drink protein shake works as well but may make your smoothie thinner.
