Ingredients
Directions
- Heat a small skillet over medium heat. Cook ground turkey with taco seasoning until fully cooked, about 5–7 minutes. Set aside.
- If desired, blend cottage cheese until smooth for a sour-cream-like texture, or leave it chunky for more texture.
- Dice or mash the avocado. If mashing, season with a pinch of salt, pepper, and a splash of lemon or lime juice.
- To assemble, layer refried beans in the bottom of a bowl.
- Top with seasoned ground turkey, cottage cheese, avocado, and diced tomato. Optional: May add shredded lettuce if you’d like it more like a salad.
- Finish with crushed tortilla chips, grab a spoon and enjoy!
Notes
- Adjust spice with hot sauce, jalapeños, or spicy taco seasoning.
- Works great as a dip, a burrito bowl base, or spooned into lettuce cups.
- Sprinkle with green or red onions for added flavor.
- May serve over shredded lettuce, if desired.
